The BellAmore Story
BellAmore Jewelry Designs by Lisa D’Aromando is a custom design company that specializes in jewelry consultation services for weddings and other formal and semi-formal events. Each design is unique and each piece is one-of-a-kind unless otherwise commissioned.
I began designing and creating jewelry three years ago, initially by searching through antique stores and flea markets for jewelry I found fascinating, taking those pieces apart, mixing up the antique components with modern ones, and coming up with new designs. I now design primarily with Swarovski crystal, sterling silver, fresh water pearls, pendants, and semi-precious stones. However, since each piece is unique, I often find a special pendant that interests me or a type of bead from another country, such as Venetian glass, and I will create a design based upon the specific component I found.
Soon after I first began designing jewelry, I started making pieces designed to coordinate with specific dresses and outfits, and I fell in love with this concept. What could be a better compliment to a dress you bought specifically for a formal dance than a necklace and earring set designed to match perfectly with the color and style of the dress and your own style preferences?
The consulting concept came about when I began designing for wedding parties; I started meeting individually with each bride (and sometimes her bridesmaides or her mother) to discuss color and style ideas and to see the dresses so that I could match the jewelry designs perfectly.
Consultation services are not solely for brides, however. I have completed many orders for other types of clients, including the William & Mary Women’s Varsity Swim Team, as well as for individual customers.
